Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the productivity of clinical laboratory and business programs
  • Anticipate and address complex informatics issues to ensure quality control and process improvement
  • Build and maintain networks with internal and external experts to drive innovation in healthcare practices
  • Advocate for solutions aligned with organizational goals and objectives
  • Engage stakeholders to review and address issues impacting laboratory operations and business processes
  • Provide support and guidance to stakeholders on process analysis and improvement techniques
  • Participate in various project workgroups and contribute to electronic health record development and implementation
  • Effectively utilize data to drive program improvements and facilitate training on new technologies
  • Coordinate software testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities
  • Act as a liaison between technical IT groups and end-users
  • Available for on-call support and occasional weekend shifts as needed

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related field
  • Three years of relevant experience
  • Clinical licensure or eligibility in the State of Maryland
  • Informatics or Relevant Industry Certification recommended
  • Epic or EHR application certification preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and adaptability skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
