Job Overview

Omniscius Consulting is seeking a skilled CAD Drawing Technician to support our DoD customer in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing detailed Layer 1 "As Built" infrastructure drawings, ensuring compliance with government standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drawing Presentation and Approval: Present and obtain approval of Layer 1 infrastructure "As Built" drawings from the Government for all completed installations.
  • Library Maintenance: Maintain a library of approved Layer 1 infrastructure "As Built" drawings in Microsoft Visio and PDF formats.
  • Drafting: Draft "As Built" physical infrastructure drawings using Microsoft Visio as the master file and provide read-only PDF formats for departmental use.
  • Submission and Review: Submit and present completed drawings to the Government for review and approval. Ensure drawings meet the required standards and are marked appropriately.
  • Updating and Archiving: Update approved infrastructure drawings and add them to the library, ensuring all documentation is current and accurate.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of one year of experience developing cable plant drawings in an industrial environment.
  • Proficiency: Proficiency in using Microsoft Visio for creating and maintaining cable plant drawings.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must hold or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Must be willing to support DoD operations on-site in Portsmouth, NH.
