Job Description

OLH Technical Services, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Navy Electronics Specialist to join our team in Norfolk, VA.

Position Overview:

This position will provide technical support to the Planned Maintenance System Project, managing shipboard electronic systems for the U.S. Navy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer network systems and be able to perform technical reviews, prepare responses to Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) Technical Feedback Reports, and develop PMS documentation using the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) concept.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical reviews and prepare responses to PMS Technical Feedback Reports.
  • Develop PMS documentation for new ship construction and/or new systems/equipment configuration using the RCM concept.
  • Research technical manuals, blueprints, and ship's drawings to validate PMS coverage for shipboard and shore station equipment.
  • Establish, update, and maintain the engineering corporate history of developed PMS documents.
  • Coordinate with Acquisition Managers and In-Service Engineering Agents to ensure accuracy and adequacy of PMS coverage.
  • Knowledge of tools, equipment, materials, methods, and practices of conducting maintenance on shipboard electronic systems.

Requirements:

  • United States Citizenship.
  • Active Secret Clearance (or higher).
  • Ability to learn new automated systems and databases.
  • Pass a background investigation and drug screen.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid United States Driver's License.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in shipboard and/or shore side repair.
  • 3M Work Center Supervisor qualified.
  • Familiarity with basic technical and administration policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite programs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
