Job Description

Urban Strategies LLC is seeking a highly skilled Health Services Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating medical services for Unaccompanied Children (UC) in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor the delivery of healthcare services to UC, including medical examinations, vaccinations, and specialty visits.
  • Ensure the development and implementation of internal procedures in accordance with ORR, State, Federal, and Urban Strategies policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, program staff, and UCs to enhance the plan of care.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to staff and healthcare providers on updated ORR medical guidelines and Urban Strategies procedures.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication and working relationships with staff, healthcare providers, and UCs.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduated from an accredited nursing school.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year with pediatrics or adolescent medicine, medical work experience in a hospital, medical clinic, or physician's office.
  • Competencies: Cultural competency, communication, ethical, interpersonal relations, attention to details, basic healthcare, wellness, health records, leadership, teamwork, community approach, office 365, proficient computer skills, Excel, Microsoft, fluent in English and Spanish.
