Position Overview:
As a Host, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to warmly welcome and greet guests upon their arrival, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated. You will manage the seating arrangements efficiently, creating a smooth flow of guests into the dining area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests with enthusiasm and a positive demeanor.
  • Maintain an organized waitlist when necessary.
  • Utilize reservation systems effectively.
  • Provide menus and address initial inquiries from guests.
  • Seat guests at their preferred tables while considering server rotation.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and involve management when needed.
  • Answer phone calls, manage reservations, and respond to general inquiries.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the food and beverage offerings.
  • Acknowledge guests as they depart.
  • Uphold and promote the company culture.

Additional Duties:
  • Assist in various roles as directed by management to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Restock supplies and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the host stand.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of performing tasks that require mobility and dexterity.
  • Work in varying temperature environments.
  • Manage high noise levels typical of a bustling restaurant.
  • Tolerate potential allergens present in the workplace.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills in a fast-paced setting.
  • Positive attitude and ability to collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Comfortable lifting and maneuvering trays of food.
  • Willingness to follow instructions and seek clarification when needed.
  • Proficient in handling cash and operating point-of-sale systems.
  • Prior experience in a restaurant setting is advantageous.

Compensation:
