Position Summary
The Host / Hostess plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This position is responsible for greeting patrons, managing seating arrangements, and ensuring that guests receive attentive service from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities
• Welcome guests as they enter the dining area.
• Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and table availability, ensuring a pleasant experience.
• Oversee the seating chart to allocate tables fairly among staff.
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables as necessary.
• Support in-room dining services when required.
• Thank guests upon their departure to foster a positive impression.
• Participate in daily cleaning and maintenance of the dining area.
• Maintain an organized and tidy workspace.
• Ensure menus are clean and up-to-date after each use.
• Follow hotel standards and procedures diligently.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in guest services is advantageous.
• TIPS Certification is a plus.

Work Environment
This role requires the ability to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods. The work environment may involve exposure to wet, hot, and humid conditions, as well as the need to navigate slippery surfaces. Candidates should be capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs, either independently or with assistance.
