Host Position Overview:
As a Host, you will play a crucial role in providing a warm and inviting experience for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated. You will manage the seating arrangements efficiently, creating a seamless flow for both guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests with a friendly and upbeat demeanor.
  • Maintain an organized waitlist when necessary.
  • Utilize reservation systems effectively.
  • Provide menus and address initial inquiries from guests.
  • Seat guests at tables or designated waiting areas.
  • Assign tables while considering server rotation for optimal service.
  • Address guest complaints and escalate to management when needed.
  • Handle phone inquiries and reservations professionally.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu offerings.
  • Bid farewell to guests as they leave, ensuring a positive last impression.
  • Uphold our company culture in all interactions.

Additional Duties:

  • Assist in various roles as directed by management to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards in food service.
  • Restock supplies and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the host stand.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of frequent mobility and physical activity throughout shifts.
  • Must be able to reach, bend, and manipulate items as needed.
  • Work in varying temperature environments.
  • Ability to tolerate high noise levels from the dining area.
  • Must be able to handle potential allergens present in the restaurant.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills in a fast-paced setting.
  • Positive attitude and ability to collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Willingness to follow directions and seek clarification when necessary.
  • Experience in a restaurant environment is advantageous.

Compensation:
