About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Scheduling Specialist to join our team at Houston Methodist. As a key member of our scheduling department, you will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments and ensuring that our patients receive timely and accurate care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Schedule patient appointments efficiently and effectively using our electronic health record system
  2. Communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care
  3. Verify patient demographic and insurance information to ensure accurate billing and payment
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient appointments and interactions
Requirements
  • Two years of experience in a medical setting or call center environment; medical scheduling experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills necessary
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
Estimated Salary Range

$55,000 - $75,000 per year
