Soleo Health Inc is seeking a Medical Scheduler Specialist to support our Complex Specialty Pharmacy in Houston, TX.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for data entry of clinical information into the clinical management system to allow for billing. They will also coordinate scheduling activities and associated tasks for the nursing department, including inter-agency care coordination and responding to incoming calls.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive medication referrals and collect insurance information through various methods.
  • Proficient data entry and generating daily office communications.
  • Contact referral sources, patients, or prescriber's offices to obtain additional information required for verification of benefits or prior approvals.
  • Place outbound calls to patients or doctor's offices to notify them of care status.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to work onsite in Houston, TX. A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is highly preferred.

Requirements

The requirements for this role include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior healthcare scheduling experience required.
  • Home infusion experience required.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.

We offer a competitive salary of $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
