Job Title: Business Development Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for community outreach, initiating brand/sales partnerships, prospecting new business opportunities, and building relationships with key decision-makers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients/partners and industry trends and needs
  • Analyze market's competitors
  • Generate quality leads through various methods, including via phone, networking events, digital marketing, industry events, trade shows, etc.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry professionals
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure client needs are met
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies that align with business goals
  • Contribute to the creation of pricing strategies and proposals
  • Building rapport with clients/partners through professional communications
  • Track and report on monthly goals
  • Continuously improve product and industry knowledge to effectively communicate with prospects and growing the brands
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances
  • Explore and enter new geographic markets or territories
  • Ensure cost-effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our company's products and services
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients, partners, or stakeholders
  • Communicate the company's value proposition and benefits effectively

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, business, communications, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in business development or sales
  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in cold calling and lead generation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability and a proactive, results-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suites
  • Ability to travel locally as needed for client meetings and events
