Business Development Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for community outreach, initiating brand/sales partnerships, prospecting new business opportunities, and building relationships with key decision-makers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients/partners and industry trends and needs
- Analyze market's competitors
- Generate quality leads through various methods, including via phone, networking events, digital marketing, industry events, trade shows, etc.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry professionals
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure client needs are met
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies that align with business goals
- Contribute to the creation of pricing strategies and proposals
- Building rapport with clients/partners through professional communications
- Track and report on monthly goals
- Continuously improve product and industry knowledge to effectively communicate with prospects and growing the brands
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances
- Explore and enter new geographic markets or territories
- Ensure cost-effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our company's products and services
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients, partners, or stakeholders
- Communicate the company's value proposition and benefits effectively
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, business, communications, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in business development or sales
- Proven experience in sales, particularly in cold calling and lead generation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adaptability and a proactive, results-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suites
- Ability to travel locally as needed for client meetings and events
