Project Engineer Assembly Operations Specialist

Marous Brothers Construction is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes and procedures, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

The Project Engineer will provide support to the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Estimator, ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving, reviewing, and logging on-site material deliveries
  • Providing project photo documentation
  • Receiving, reviewing, and distributing RFI's, submittals, and daily reports in the project management software
  • Ensuring adherence to all safety policies and procedures
  • Attending and documenting project-specific walk-throughs with subcontractors, architects, or clients
  • Creating, reviewing, tracking, and distributing punch list items to subcontractors and verifying completion
  • Assisting with pre-drywall checklists, completion lists, and pre-punch list creation and distribution
  • Executing project close-out documentation
  • Coordinating site permits and subcontractors
  • Assisting with material procurement and coordination of change orders
  • Meeting regularly with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and/or Estimator to report progress and concerns

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, with basic computer abilities and a strong understanding of the construction industry. This is an entry-level position, ideal for individuals with 0-3 years of experience in a Project Engineer role.
