Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Specialist to join our team at Synerfac. As an Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team and working closely with customers to understand their industrial automation needs.

Key Responsibilities

Support sales team as the product expert during customer interactions, analyzing applications and recommending solutions to control system challenges.
Conduct site surveys of industrial automation control systems to gain understanding of project opportunities and gather information needed to develop solutions.
Use industry process knowledge and product application expertise to recommend solutions for customers.
Prepare system configuration drawings, commercial and technical proposals by studying system schematics, specifications, plans, and related customer documents.
Present technical/commercial proposals to customers and follow up with existing customers to foster new business relationships.

Requirements

Engineering degree or equivalent experience in industrial automation.
Experience working with PLC, AC & DC Drive systems, and HMI products.
Metals processing knowledge is strongly preferred.
Willingness and desire to participate in ongoing training to maintain technical competency in automation products, software, and complimentary areas.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.

ABB, Allen Bradley, GE, Siemens, Reliance Electric.
