Lead Building Engineer

Job Summary:
CBRE is seeking a highly skilled Lead Building Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our service line, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of building systems, ensuring the highest level of efficiency and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise building system operations and performance
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on building equipment
- Operate, maintain, and monitor building systems, including mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Manage supplies and tools, ordering necessary materials to complete tasks
- Coordinate and inspect work performed by outside contractors
- Perform specialized tasks such as carpentry, electrical, painting, roofing, HVAC, welding, furniture assembly/relocation, and locksmith tasks
- Inspect building systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
Requirements:
- Eight or more years' experience in electrical systems, refrigeration, and/or HVAC or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Additional certification in one or more of the following: electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair
- Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions
- Knowledge of financial terms and principles and ability to understand operating budgets
