Key Responsibilities

Technical Expertise

  • Develop and implement advanced mechanical design principles: Leverage your deep knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science to solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Advanced CAD Expertise: With over 4 years of SolidWorks experience (or comparable software), you'll bring designs to life, from conceptual sketches to detailed 3D models. Experience with AutoCAD, CATIA, and FEA software will make your designs not just practical but optimized for real-world applications.

Manufacturing and Fabrication

  • Hands-On Fabrication: Whether it's machining, welding, or 3D printing, your fabrication skills will turn ideas into reality.
  • DFM Excellence: Your designs will be crafted with manufacturability in mind, ensuring seamless production in a small machine shop setting.
  • Machine Design Expertise: From initial concept to final testing, your machine design experience will drive innovation and reliability in every project.

Project Leadership and Collaboration

  • Project Management Prowess: Manage engineering projects with precision, ensuring they're delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Technical Documentation: Your ability to create and interpret detailed technical drawings and reports will keep projects on track and stakeholders informed.

Professional Experience and Skills

  • Industry Experience: With at least 2 years of hands-on experience in fields like automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing, you've contributed to cutting-edge projects and collaborated across disciplines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Your experience with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar initiatives will drive efficiency and quality in every aspect of your work.
  • Team Collaboration: You've worked seamlessly with cross-functional teams, bringing projects to life with input from electrical, software, and production departments.
