We are seeking a Support Specialist for Developmental Services to join our team at Bridgewell, a renowned provider of social and human services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities. As a Support Specialist, you will work closely with our clients to develop personalized plans that promote their independence, autonomy, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans that address each client's unique needs and goals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of services.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities.
  • Hold a current Nursing Assistant Certification in Massachusetts and maintain active certified status.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb stairs regularly.
