Position Overview:
The Special Events Facilitator plays a crucial role in managing on-site activities and collaborating with Community Events Specialists to ensure seamless execution of events.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the on-site management of special events.
2. Ensure compliance with vendor and customer standards, including safety regulations.
3. Communicate effectively with attendees and vendors, addressing any issues that may arise.
4. Set up and dismantle event equipment such as barricades, tents, tables, and chairs.
5. Contribute to the creation of engaging social media content to promote events.
6. Foster connections with diverse community groups, including families and seniors.
7. Collaborate with the Recreation Specialist to enhance event sustainability practices.
8. Maintain inventory of supplies and assist with procurement for events.
9. Uphold a safe and healthy work environment.
10. Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Background in recreational activities, special events, or customer service is preferred.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license required at the start of employment.

- CPR, AED, and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Experience in marketing and social media engagement.

Work Environment:
Work may occur in various settings, including office environments and outdoor facilities, requiring flexibility in hours and physical activity.
