Rehabilitation Specialist

The Physical Therapist is responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive rehabilitation program aimed at aiding individuals with physical and psychosocial challenges. This role involves guiding patients through selected therapeutic activities and interventions to restore functionality, reinforce health, and address specific pathologies.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough evaluations to formulate effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's rehabilitation journey.
- Administer a variety of treatment techniques competently and safely.
- Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding relevant health information, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Engage in the discharge planning process to ensure a smooth transition for patients.
- Participate in departmental activities, including documentation, billing, and operational support.
SIGN ON BONUS: $2,000, paid in installments; 1st @90 days/2nd @ 1yr
Work ScheduleThis is an outpatient position requiring 24 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
QualificationsApplicants must possess the necessary evaluation and treatment skills to deliver Physical Therapy services appropriate to the developmental and chronological age of patients. Essential qualities include professional initiative, objectivity, effective time management, and strong interpersonal skills. Candidates should be physically, cognitively, and perceptually capable of providing patient care and assisting with patient mobility.
Educational BackgroundMust be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program. A minimum of one year of experience is strongly preferred. Experience in dry needling is advantageous.
LicensureMust hold a valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Ohio or be in the process of obtaining licensure as a Licensure Applicant.
