Position OverviewRole Summary

The Physical Therapist is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Physical Therapy program aimed at assisting individuals with physical and psychosocial challenges. This role involves guiding patients through tailored activities and therapeutic interventions designed to restore function, enhance health, and promote well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs and establish effective treatment plans.
  • Implement appropriate therapeutic techniques to facilitate patient recovery.
  • Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding health management, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Engage in the discharge planning process to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in departmental activities including documentation, billing, and operational support.
Compensation and Work Schedule

SIGN ON BONUS: $2,000, paid in installments; 1st @90 days/2nd @ 1yr

Work Schedule: Outpatient setting, Monday to Friday, 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess the necessary skills to evaluate and treat patients of varying developmental and chronological ages. Strong professional initiative, objectivity, effective time management, and interpersonal skills are essential. Candidates should be physically and cognitively capable of providing treatment and assisting with patient mobility.

Educational Background

Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program. A minimum of one year of experience is preferred. Experience in dry needling is advantageous.

Licensure Requirements

Must hold a valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Ohio or be in the process of obtaining licensure as a Licensure Applicant.
