Position Overview:

Maxim Healthcare Services is actively seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) who will take on the responsibility and accountability for implementing the nursing process and providing exceptional patient care. The Registered Nurse (RN) will exhibit the capability to make clinical decisions effectively and efficiently under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employ the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Identify signs and symptoms that indicate physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members, documenting actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
  • Record the patient's care plan utilizing established nursing diagnoses, anticipated patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
  • Execute interventions based on identified priorities, care plans, hospital policies, and patient care outcome standards.
  • Adjust the care plan based on evaluations, changes in the medical plan, and the effectiveness of nursing interventions.
  • Utilize clinical judgment in evaluation activities to address patient care needs on the assigned unit, including setting priorities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned related to the Registered Nurse (RN) role.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License for the practicing state.
  • Current Health Certificate as per facility RN contract or state regulations.
  • Up-to-date PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Preferred: One year of prior experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
