Position Overview:

Maxim Healthcare Services is in search of a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) who will take on the responsibility and accountability for implementing the nursing process and delivering exceptional patient care. The Registered Nurse (RN) will showcase the ability to make clinical decisions effectively and efficiently under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employ the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Identify signs and symptoms that indicate physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
  • Record the patient's care plan using established nursing diagnoses, anticipated patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
  • Execute interventions in accordance with identified priorities, care plans, hospital policies, and patient care outcome standards.
  • Adjust the care plan based on evaluations, changes in the medical plan, and the effectiveness of nursing interventions.
  • Utilize clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet the patient care needs of the assigned unit, including establishing priorities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned for Registered Nurses (RNs).

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state of practice.
  • Valid Health Certificate as per facility RN contract or state regulations.
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray results.
  • Valid BLS certification.
  • Preferred: One year of prior experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
