Production Supervisor
UniFirst Corporation is on the lookout for a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to become a vital member of our team. In this role, you will play an essential part in guiding the production workforce and enhancing overall performance. Your responsibilities will include overseeing plant operations in alignment with the directives of the Assistant Production Manager while adhering to company policies and objectives. We offer a standard 5-day work week, with weekends off, and provide comprehensive on-the-job training. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and facilitate the production workflow. Assist in training plant staff. Promote morale and safety within the facility. Identify and report operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues as they occur. Aid in production data entry and review of reports. Help manage inventory effectively. Collaborate with Production Management to address team member concerns. Perform additional tasks as assigned. Required Qualifications:Ideal Candidate:
Must be at least 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent is required. A two-year degree from an accredited institution is preferred. 2-4 years of relevant experience and/or training is preferred. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are necessary. Ability to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw logical conclusions. Capability to lift up to 60 lbs. Proficiency in applying concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical scenarios. Strong presentation skills and ability to respond to inquiries effectively. Basic mathematical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.-
