Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects related to the custody, security, and management of the facility and its residents.
  • Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and relevant procedures.
  • Monitor and document the accountability of residents and staff within the facility.
  • Enforce and record all established rules and responsibilities for residents and personnel.
  • Support counselors in the implementation of resident Program Plans.
  • Conduct and document regular inspections of the facility to ensure health, safety, and maintenance standards are met.
  • Manage and document all transactions related to finances, medications, first aid supplies, and communications.
  • Communicate pertinent information regarding residents and the facility to other staff members.
  • Report emergencies and unusual incidents immediately to the designated staff officer.
  • Schedule and oversee facility searches as necessary.
  • Participate in all required meetings and training sessions.
  • Develop staff schedules for Resident Monitors for review by the Assistant Director.
  • Handle resident grievance procedures effectively.
  • Oversee the maintenance of linen services.
  • Conduct weekly audits of Medication Dispensation Forms.
  • Compile monthly inventory reports for supplies and first aid materials.
  • Facilitate training and performance evaluations for Resident Monitors and Shift Supervisors.
  • Monitor sick call and wake-up procedures.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection process for Resident Monitor positions.
  • Perform off-site checks on residents as directed by the Assistant Director.
  • Execute any additional duties as assigned by the Director or their designee.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in personal computer operations, specifically with Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with basic PC concepts and operation of standard office equipment.
  • Strong typing, spelling, grammar, organizational, and communication skills.
