Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Director to join our team at Center for Christian Growth, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of our New Braunfels campus, while providing assistance and collaboration with our Spicewood campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain existing grounds, pools, and facilities, coordinating yearly improvements, and planning for future development opportunities.
  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians, grounds staff, and pool technicians to ensure the upkeep of our facilities.
  • Work with Human Resources in the hiring/termination of maintenance staff, overseeing requests for time off, and approving timecards for payroll.
  • Develop and manage the annual budget and monitor facilities budgets throughout the year.
  • Collaborate with other departments and programs to create new and fun activities to enhance our programs.
  • Oversight of pools, including daily logging of chlorine and pH levels, cleanliness, and equipment function.
  • Oversight of landscape, including mowing, trimming, blowing off paths and outdoor surfaces, trees, flower beds, and mulching.
  • Build, manage, and develop vendor and contractor relationships.
  • Be part of the on-call team until our team is fully staffed.
  • Receive, code, and ensure payment of vendor invoices for all facility items.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local authorities and agencies.
  • Manage 3 condo units that pay us quarterly fees, including monthly condo checks and addressing any issues noticed in the units.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. This position works mainly indoors in a normal office environment majority of the time.
