Job Overview

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for expanding the client base within a specified territory by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. This role requires a proactive approach to customer engagement and the development of strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with existing clients while identifying potential new accounts.
  • Create and implement Account Growth Plans for key clients to enhance business relationships.
  • Consistently seek out new customer relationships and generate measurable revenue growth.
  • Address customer inquiries and issues promptly and effectively.
  • Achieve all sales targets and business development objectives.
  • Organize and conduct business development meetings and prepare strategic engagement plans.
  • Engage in regular networking and prospecting activities.
  • Deliver comprehensive presentations to prospective clients.
  • Facilitate the execution of Master Services Agreements with new clients.
  • Participate in industry events such as trade shows and seminars to promote services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company's CRM system.
  • Contribute to the proposal development process as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Team on-site at client locations when necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of the environmental and industrial services sector is preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to navigate complex variables with limited standardization.
  • Mathematical Skills: Proficient in basic calculations, including discounts, commissions, and percentages.
  • Language Skills: Capable of reading and interpreting various documents and preparing reports with proper grammar and punctuation.
