Physician Relations Program Manager

Job Summary:
The Physician Relations Program Manager serves as a key liaison between Christus Health and the medical staff to drive service line growth and maintain strong relationships. This role requires exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to build and maintain positive relationships with physicians and medical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quarterly business plans to align with strategic physician alignment goals, including routing schedules, targeted physicians, marketing messages, and promotions.
- Achieve quarterly sales targets by utilizing contact management software to track activity, referrals, admits, and diagnostic orders for targeted physicians, and providing bi-weekly summaries to the Administrative Team.
- Make face-to-face presentations to referral sources to promote services, facilities, and physician networks, and develop profiles of referral sources to track market intelligence and potential relationships.
- Maintain regular contact and follow-up with referral sources and gatekeepers to facilitate communications, evaluate satisfaction, and prospect for future business.
- Communicate problems to the appropriate service line director for resolution and communicate the resolution to the customer.
- Monitor market and competitive activity in the provider community to adjust messaging and targeting as necessary.
- Be available to physicians and office staff to address access, communication, or service needs and enhance referral services.
- Facilitate attendance at educational programs and other opportunities to connect specialists with targeted physicians.
- Remain knowledgeable of services offered by Christus Health, targeted areas of growth, key service lines, and physician volume.
- Communicate trends in service, communications, and operational barriers expressed by providers to internal stakeholders.
- Work with clinical and operational leaders to ensure a system is in place for addressing and reporting physician issues and needs.
