Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to campers by facilitating various activities and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
  • Step in as needed to cover for full-time staff, adapting to the dynamic needs of the camp.
  • Supervise campers actively, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Maintain an organized and welcoming activity space that encourages exploration and creativity.
  • Document and report any notable incidents or concerns regarding camper safety and health.
  • Monitor and accommodate camper allergies and dietary restrictions effectively.
  • Contribute to the campers' profiles with daily updates and photos, capturing their experiences.

Candidate Profile:

  • Excited about guiding children in their decision-making processes.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and support others in doing the same.
  • Comfortable leading groups independently while collaborating with fellow team members.
  • Physically capable of engaging with energetic children and managing their activities.
  • Passionate about sharing knowledge and open to learning from others.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Experience working with children aged 4-12, with a preference for a minimum of one year in a camp or similar setting.
  • First Aid and CPR certification required prior to the start of the camp season.
