Information Technology Support Specialist

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at Apex Systems. The successful candidate will provide technical support and assistance to our clients, ensuring the smooth operation of their computer systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 1 and 2 technical support, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
  • Manage proprietary software changes and introduce new technologies as needed
  • Offer full desktop support, including reimaging computers, password assistance, and screen shares
  • Resolve field computer-associated problems and maintain accurate records
  • Leverage a ticketing system to manage workflow and collaborate with vendors when necessary
Requirements
  • 2 years of Level 1 Help Desk experience
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States
  • An associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated success troubleshooting PC-related problems in a Windows environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of computers, networks, systems, and the Internet
