Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver sales outcomes for assigned territory in accordance with financial objectives.
2. Adhere to the Walden Security sales methodology.
3. Generate a list of potential clients through independent lead generation and collaboration with marketing.
4. Foster relationships and nurture leads with key contacts.
5. Engage with prospects to highlight the unique benefits of our security services.
6. Meet business development targets, including calls and meetings.
7. Gather essential information regarding prospects' previous and current security contracts and requirements.
8. Analyze opportunities, including those presented in RFP format.
9. Independently prepare proposals for client contracts in coordination with the in-house proposal team.
10. Collaborate with management to prepare pricing proposals.
11. Present and negotiate terms with clients; manage contract renewals.
12. Occasionally assist in the collection of overdue payments.
13. Maintain accurate CRM records for prospects and clients, including all communications.
14. Ensure ongoing client support by partnering with the operations team.
15. Collaborate effectively with various departments.
16. Respond promptly and professionally to all inquiries.
17. Follow internal processes diligently while maintaining attention to detail.
18. Attend industry events and trade shows to network and generate leads.
19. Participate in multiple networking groups.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in business-to-business sales is preferred.
- Familiarity with the RFP process is advantageous.
- Experience in contract security or related industries is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
