Responsibilities:
  • Implement data collection strategies with state, local, and industry stakeholders to gather data on broadband expansion initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contractors to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Analyze data to identify program statistics and trends, and resolve operational challenges.
  • Prepare comprehensive administrative reports and conduct specialized research projects.
  • Develop program policies, procedures, standards, and manuals in accordance with program objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree.
  • Three (3) years of experience in Data Analysis, Telecommunications, Technology, or a similar position.
  • One year experience in GIS data analysis.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, PowerBI, and ArcGIS.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree in Data Science, Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Social Work, Communication, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Liaising with stakeholders to determine needs, concerns, and viewpoints to develop project goals.
  • Developing educational and training instructions related to broadband expansion.
  • Working in the telecommunications industry or any organization involved with broadband deployment.
  • Researching within the technology policy field, with a focus on telecommunications.
  • Writing academic or policy documents.
  • Federal, state, and local strategic planning services for broadband expansion.
  • Strong interpersonal, writing, and verbal skills, including public speaking.
  • Grant writing.
  • Grant management methodologies, specifically development, awarding, and oversight.
