Business Office Coordinator: Administrative Support Specialist

Sunrise Senior Living is a leading provider of senior living services, dedicated to delivering high-quality care and exceptional experiences for our residents and their families. We are seeking an experienced Business Office Coordinator to join our team in Staten Island, New York.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with business administration, human resources, and system-related business processes
- Process bi-weekly payroll and respond to payroll developments, trends, regulations, and business controls
- Maintain team member personnel information, including payroll processing, updating personnel files, and training records
- Champion the team member on-boarding and welcome orientation process
- Partner with the Executive Director and other team leaders to form teams and encourage strong team member engagement, morale, and spirit
We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have:
- A positive can-do attitude and dedication to seniors
- Demonstrated skills in business computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Organization, time management, problem-solving/resolution, and decision-making skills
- Written and verbal communications and a willingness to facilitate small group presentations
- Interpersonal skills and financial/business principles
We offer a competitive salary range of $26.00 - $31.20 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and bonus eligibility. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans, retirement savings plans, employee assistance program/discount program, paid time off, sick time, and holiday pay.
In addition to base compensation, Sunrise may offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses. Eligibility to receive such a bonus will depend on the employee's position, plan/program offered by Sunrise at the time, and required performance pursuant to the plan/program.
