Key Responsibilities:
As an Aerospace Systems & Defense intern/co-op, you may engage in:

  • Development of engine control systems, navigation, and guidance technologies.
  • Work on gas turbine engine components and electrical power systems.
  • Involvement in mechanical systems and vehicle health management.
  • Support for mission systems and computing systems integration.
  • Design, analysis, development, and testing activities.
  • Writing software requirements and conducting software testing.
  • Simulation and tool development, along with product support.

Qualifications:
To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Be enrolled in a full-time, accredited engineering program (Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Computer Engineering preferred).
  • Possess reliable transportation, as many locations lack public transit options.

Eligibility Requirements:
Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory, and sponsorship for employment visas is not available for this position.

Compensation:
Pay rates for this position start at $20/hour, with increases based on academic progress. Relocation support and housing assistance are available for those moving to a new city.
