Job Summary:
The Personal Lines Insurance Sales Representative is a sales position responsible for driving new business revenue growth of personal lines clients through various channels. This role is expected to establish additional wins through self-generated referral systems, centers of influence and community engagement/interaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve new business sales goals on an annualized basis based on established targets.
  • Create positive synergy and pursue cross-selling opportunities with other practices to meet revenue growth targets.
  • Generate sufficient new business leads and first appointment activity volume.
  • Identify and overcome sales obstacles on a prospect-specific basis.
  • Utilize CRM to support the sales process, including input of accurate and timely information relative to first appointments, follow-up's etc.
  • Develop and deploy sales/marketing strategies to optimize the company position in the marketplace.
  • Work collaboratively with the account management team.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in sales and business development.
  • Personable, initiative-taking, purposeful and organized individual who is driven to achieve individual sales goals.
  • Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organization and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent listening skills with a strong customer focus.
  • Good teamwork skills with an ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to work with senior level-management and have a top-level executive presence.
  • College degree preferred.
  • P&C License.
