Ultrasound Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Regional Medical Imaging. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality ultrasound images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of internal organs and tissues
- Prepare patients for examinations, including explaining procedures and positioning them for optimal image capture
- Conduct ultrasound examinations, selecting appropriate equipment and settings to achieve high-quality images
- Record and document examination results, including images and diagnostic data
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Current ARRT certification and registration as a Sonographer
- Experience with ultrasound equipment and imaging software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Experience with mammography and other specialized ultrasound modalities
- Certification in CPR and OSHA Blood Borne Pathogen
This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
