Radiologic Imaging Specialist

As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist at McLaren USA, you will be responsible for performing mammography and general radiologic imaging to detect diseases, injuries, and foreign bodies. This role requires a strong understanding of radiologic principles and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiological examinations, ensuring high-quality images and meeting department standards.
• Transfer and position patients safely, utilizing proper lifting techniques and immobilization devices as needed.
• Provide accurate patient and image identification, completing required documentation for medical records and legal purposes.
• Select and operate radiological equipment, adjusting technical factors to ensure compliance with department standards.
Requirements:
• Possess an Associate's Degree or two years of formal education/training beyond high school.
• Be certified in Mammography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or obtain certification within 12 months of employment.
• Have at least one month of job-related experience and be eligible for registration/certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Maintain certification in CPR.
