Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of HVAC work experience
  • EPA Certification
  • A valid driver's license
  • A clean, safe driving record within 3 years
  • The ability to pass a drug test and background check

Responsibilities

As a Home Service Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing customer rapport to sell the right products and services
  • Educating and assisting customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans
  • Understanding your sales criteria and holding yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals
  • Showing yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business
  • Working alongside other technicians and dispatch to ensure the overall success of the business
  • Maintaining a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck
  • Participating actively in all training exercises and morning meetings
  • Training and mentoring apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations
  • Being accurate and timely with invoices, time sheets, and curbside feedback
