Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Sales Specialist to enhance our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating new business opportunities within the First Aid and Safety sector. Your primary focus will be on engaging with businesses that employ 75 or more individuals and/or operate multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell First Aid products to prospective clients.
  • Expand existing accounts by introducing additional product lines, prioritizing first aid, facility services, and safety solutions.
  • Address customer needs with products that foster a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Utilize various tools to enhance your sales pipeline.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to optimize daily sales efforts.
  • Maintain a consistent call average aligned with company objectives.
  • Drive growth through proactive outreach, including cold calls and referrals.
  • Engage in sales meetings and implement strategies discussed.
  • Complete necessary documentation, including work orders and expense reports.
  • Ensure accuracy in all paperwork and maintain organized records.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding new account developments.
  • Stay informed about pricing changes and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Keep a detailed prospect database of all accounts under development.
  • Participate in promotional activities as required.
  • Maintain your vehicle in a clean and organized manner for business use.
  • Adhere to company policies and guidelines.
  • Stay updated on competitor offerings and market trends.
  • Share relevant insights during team meetings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in business-to-business sales is required.
  • Demonstrated high-level selling skills, including strong prospecting and closing abilities.
  • Proven sales experience with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Resourcefulness and adaptability are key traits.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 30 lbs.
