Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse to join our team at HealthONE. As a Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to children and families in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage the physical and emotional needs of pediatric patients in the emergency department
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Colorado or compact license from another state
  • 1-2 years of experience in pediatric emergency nursing or a related field
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
