Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse to join our team at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center. As a Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to children and families in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide age-appropriate care to pediatric patients based on their physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN degree.
  • Current RN license in the State of Colorado or current RN compact license from another state for the first 180 days of employment.
  • Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required; ENPC and NRP certifications preferred.
  • 1-2 years of acute care/specialty nursing experience desired.
