Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse to join our team at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center. As a key member of our emergency department, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in the emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and trauma activations, and respond to critical situations with calm and professionalism.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the State of Colorado or current RN compact license from another state for the 1st 180 days of employment.
  • Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required; ENPC and NRP certifications preferred.
  • 1-2 years of acute care/specialty nursing experience desired.
