Position Overview:

The Cash Application Lead will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily functions of the Cash Application team, providing essential guidance and support to ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the daily operations of the Cash Application team.
  • Provide training and mentorship to new team members, facilitating their professional growth.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and engage in general accounting practices to meet departmental objectives.
  • Download cash receipts and manage wire transactions from Lockbox.
  • Coordinate with account analysts to obtain necessary documentation for deposits and reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely application of all bank deposits, wires, and credit card transactions across all systems.
  • Process credit card payments and link unallocated cash to manual invoices as required.
  • Maintain organized cash application spreadsheets and manage chargeback invoices.
  • Oversee the Invoice Validation process and perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Cash Application Clerk role or within a Lockbox environment.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in a financial capacity.
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping principles.
  • Preferred 1 year of experience in research and reconciliation.
  • Strong proficiency in 10-Key skills.
