Job Summary

As a Project Engineer at Flatiron Construction, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. This includes meeting with engineering and field crews to review production schedules and confirm the availability of materials, equipment, and resources. You will also review shop drawings, design specifications, and project data to ensure quality and contract specification compliance.

Key Responsibilities

* Meet with engineering and field crews to review production schedules and confirm the availability of materials, equipment, and resources.
* Review shop drawings, design specifications, and project data to ensure quality and contract specification compliance.
* Provide technical input for project work plans and scheduling, identifying risk elements that could negatively impact the budget or schedule.
* Evaluate daily production, schedule, and budget projections to accurately track project performance.
* Document daily activities in Company-approved methods and technologies.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
* 5+ years of construction engineering experience required.
* Experience in resource monitoring techniques and construction technology preferred.
* Specialized knowledge of design build or other alternative build techniques.
* Ability to set clear expectations for direct reports and delegate work to progress the project forward.
* Advanced knowledge of contract specifications and quality assurance practices.
