Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop electrical, electronics, and mechatronics control system safety work products.
  • Establish and maintain the highest standards of technical capability, quality, professionalism, and teamwork.
  • Provide and support engineering and process guidance, training, and create documentation.
  • Prepare and review engineering work products for technical documentation, quality, and completeness.
  • Resolve complex problems through the application of acquired technical experience and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering with 2+ years of product development engineering experience.
  • Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or PhD in the same fields.
  • Experience with requirements management and application of agile development methods.
  • Familiarity with military qualification and/or FAA certification of airborne systems.
Preferred Requirements
  • 5+ years of product safety engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering, robust design tools, and techniques coupled with the latest model-centric development approaches.
