Control Units Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and passionate engineer to join our Control Units team at Rolls-Royce. As a Control Units Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing components for our power and propulsion systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop components for Rolls-Royce power and propulsion systems
- Work on a cross-functional team under the direction of a senior engineer
- Write and understand technical requirements for suppliers/vendors
- Direct supplier activities and supply chain support
- Define component/engine interfaces
- Develop test plans and test control units' hardware under engine conditions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Knowledge of fluid dynamics, engineering modeling, simulation, and analysis tools
- Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
- Ability to travel to worksites to perform responsibilities
