Automation Systems Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Engineer to join our team at BioSpace, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation systems and a passion for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our Dry Products Packaging Lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, support, and maintain automation systems to ensure compliance with business needs.
- Ensure process automation solutions are in-control, capable, and compliant.
- Support the Process Team Agenda and participate in safety-related activities to drive ongoing safety improvement.
- Take overall responsibility for the safe design and safe operation of equipment within the area.
- Work with the process team to define requirements and ensure all qualification activities are appropriately executed and documented.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field, preferably Electrical Engineering.
- 1 year of automation experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a safe manner to ensure the safety of self and others.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills to work effectively in a team-based environment.
Additional Information:
8 hour days, after-hour support may be required. Occasional travel may be necessary for training, conferences, and capital projects.
