Position Overview: The Chief of Medical Imaging Services will spearhead the management and advancement of imaging operations throughout the Inspira Health Network. This role requires collaboration with essential stakeholders to uphold the utmost standards of quality, enhance patient experiences, engage staff, and drive strategic initiatives aimed at improving patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Strategy: Provide visionary leadership for the imaging departments, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and strategic goals. Formulate and execute strategies to elevate patient care, boost operational efficiency, and optimize performance metrics.
  • Operational Oversight: Direct the daily operations of imaging services, including management of personnel, scheduling, resource distribution, and financial oversight. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and patient safety standards.
  • Strategic Development: Partner with organizational leaders to create long-term strategic frameworks for imaging services. Identify avenues for growth, potential new services, and cutting-edge technologies to enhance patient care and operational effectiveness.
  • Team Leadership: Cultivate a collaborative and empowering workplace culture, encourage professional growth, and manage performance-related issues as necessary.
  • Quality Management: Develop and oversee quality assurance initiatives to maintain exceptional service standards. Implement quality control protocols, monitor equipment functionality, and assess the reliability of services delivered.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, referring clinicians, and various departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of imaging services.
  • Innovation and Technology: Stay abreast of advancements in radiology and imaging technology. Assess and integrate new technologies and software systems to enhance diagnostic precision, patient satisfaction, and operational productivity.
