We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at MetroHealth's Old Brooklyn Campus. As an LPN, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in our inpatient physical rehabilitation hospital, specializing in orthopedic and spine care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, performing venipuncture, and collecting blood specimens.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and direct patient flow, ensuring efficient and effective care delivery.
- Utilize EPIC In-basket to manage patient information and coordinate care.
- Graduate of an approved School of Practical Nursing.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the State of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- 1 year of experience in an in-patient or long term care setting.
- Familiarity with rules and regulations associated with in-patient or long term care.
