About the Position
The National Medical Association is seeking a highly skilled Vascular Surgeon to join our faculty as an academic and clinical expert. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching and mentoring residents, fellows, and medical students, and contributing to the advancement of vascular surgery through research and education.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and management in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases
- Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students in the principles and practices of vascular surgery
- Contribute to the development and implementation of academic programs and research initiatives in vascular surgery
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Collaborate with other faculty members and healthcare professionals to advance the field of vascular surgery
Requirements
- Board certification in General Surgery and completion of a Vascular Surgery Fellowship or Residency
- Board certification or eligibility in Vascular Surgery
- Demonstrated expertise in open and endovascular techniques in all vascular beds
- Commitment to academic surgery and education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
