About the Role:

The Placement Specialist is a key member of our team at Roadmaster Drivers School, responsible for assisting students and graduates in finding employment opportunities. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with industry recruiters and employers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Placement: Assist students and graduates in finding employment opportunities that match their skills and interests.
  • Recruiter Management: Schedule and host industry recruiters, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.
  • Admissions Support: Assist the admissions team in scheduling prospective student seminars and job fairs, providing industry employer hiring qualifications, and qualifying prospective students.
  • Employer Engagement: Assist the School Manager in organizing and providing employer participation in all school job fairs and outside hiring seminars.
  • Application Support: Assist students in completing job applications and provide guidance on proper interview techniques.
  • Compliance: Comply with all applicable placement policies and procedures, including monitoring and tracking submitted employment applications.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of verifiable office administrative experience.
  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with applicants, students, and company personnel regarding student placement options.
  • Training: After training, must possess the ability to read and understand loan contracts and convey terms to both students and company personnel.
  • Physical and Intellectual Abilities: Must be able to demonstrate physical, intellectual, and leadership ability to perform the duties of placement assistance arrangements with students and trucking companies.
  • Personality: Must have an energetic and positive personality with the capability to work and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Minimum high school graduate or equivalent.
  • Background Checks: After training, must possess the ability to review consumer background reports, including criminal background reports and motor vehicle reports.
