Job Summary

A dynamic and detail-oriented individual is sought to fill the role of Delivery Driver and Warehouse Associate at Consolidated Electrical Distributors. This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate split their time between completing deliveries and working in the warehouse, ensuring seamless logistics and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Load and unload order fulfillment materials, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to customers.
  • Communicate any vehicle mechanical issues to direct supervisors, prioritizing vehicle maintenance and safety.
  • Perform daily inspections and maintenance on company vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Deliver and pick up merchandise to/from customers and suppliers, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Receive and process incoming freight, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to company standards.
  • Stock materials on shelves, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
  • Process orders, returns, and exchanges, providing excellent customer service.
  • Operate a Microsoft-based computer system, utilizing software to manage logistics and supply chain operations.
Requirements
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving history.
  • Ability to receive a DOT Medical Certification.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check.
  • Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a warehouse environment, with regular exposure to outdoor conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, and other seasonal conditions. The role will also require occasional travel to customers and suppliers.
