Comprehensive Benefits from Day One for Full-Time Employees - No Waiting Period

We take pride in being part of the Rentokil family of companies, a global leader in Pest Management and related services operating in over 90 countries. Our commitment lies in being a reliable partner to many of the world's foremost brands, serving both consumer and business clients across various sectors. We are dedicated to our legacy of excellence and continually strive to fulfill our mission to "protect people, enhance lives, and preserve the planet."

Interested in a role that combines problem-solving with customer satisfaction?

You could be the ideal candidate we are seeking.

Tackling pest issues comes with its perks. Enjoy a company-provided vehicle, fuel, and mobile device. Our benefits package includes a 401(k) plan with company matching. With the potential to earn $75,000 or more within five years, this role is about more than just financial rewards. It’s about providing exceptional service, supporting your colleagues, and making a positive impact in the community. We address pest challenges and uplift our clients' spirits.

Are you a diligent worker? Can you follow instructions, adapt to new situations, and resolve issues? Are you organized, approachable, and driven to succeed? If so, you’re on the right track.

As a Pest Control Specialist, here’s what you can anticipate:

You won’t be confined to an office. Instead, you’ll be active and independent, advancing your career with clear opportunities for growth. You will represent Terminix in your local area, and your clients will rely on you to safeguard their homes and businesses. Initially, you will undergo several months of training. Once you have acquired the necessary state-required licenses and certifications, you will take charge of your own clientele. You will be rewarded with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits for you and your family. As a team member, you will qualify for a 401(k) with company matching, company-paid life insurance, tuition reimbursement, and a generous student loan repayment program. Your efforts will yield significant rewards. You will be part of a community — bonus points if you are already a leader in yours. Our connections at Terminix are strong, and the relationships we build in the communities we serve are unmatched. Our team members contribute through volunteering, donations, scholarships, and more. You will receive onboarding and training from experienced professionals. You will be compensated while obtaining your licenses, which will benefit you for a lifetime. You will also learn how to manage pest issues in your own home.

A glimpse into your daily responsibilities:

Prepare to engage with customers and learn how we deliver exceptional service. You will become proficient in applying our products safely and effectively. Are you a competent driver? As a technician, your workspace will be the cab of your Terminix vehicle, which you will use for calls and take home. The same applies to your Terminix mobile device. We trust our technicians. You will be responsible for fostering relationships with clients, scheduling and confirming appointments, assisting with sales to existing customers, and expanding our services to new clients. Is technology a concern for you? No worries. We provide training and support to ensure you are comfortable using advanced tools. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction via email, text, phone, and in person. Some paperwork will also be involved. There is potential for you to advance into a role that aligns with your passions and skills — whether that be in management, sales, or another opportunity within Terminix.

Essential qualifications:

To join Terminix as a Pest Control Specialist, you will need to meet certain criteria:

A high school diploma or GED; or one to three months of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively in various settings. Basic math skills — ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. You will need to follow instructions for mixing products according to labels. With support from Terminix (and the company covering the costs), you will need to maintain the necessary licenses/certifications as mandated by federal, state, and/or local regulations. A valid driver’s license is also required.

Understanding the physical demands of the role:

We will be straightforward. The essential functions of this position involve certain physical demands (reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions). Here’s what to expect:

You should be able to regularly lift up to 10 lbs. and frequently handle 11–20 lbs., whether that involves lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or repositioning objects. You will be active — regularly sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. You will navigate stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles, and maintain balance on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces. (You will definitely get your steps in.) You must be capable of safely operating a motor vehicle and ensuring that it and all other equipment remain clean. Good vision is necessary for detail-oriented tasks at close distances or within arm's reach. Occasionally, you will need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as an OSHA-compliant respirator, and be comfortable working in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways (where pests often reside).

Work environment:

Pests don’t always inhabit pleasant locations — and that’s where we operate. However, we will equip you with everything necessary to perform your duties safely and comfortably.

You should be prepared to work both indoors and outdoors in your local climate, utilizing company-provided weather gear. You may encounter mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical currents, heights and scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals, and we will train you on how to manage these conditions safely. You will be around animals and insects. You must be comfortable working in tight, confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways — such as those found in crawl spaces. We operate where pests thrive.

To join Terminix, you must comply with state and federal regulations and meet company safety standards.

This position offers a base salary plus commission.

· Average compensation exceeding $40k (base + commission) during the first year
· $22.00 per hour during training

Actual annual earnings depend on individual performance, with top technicians earning well over $100k annually.
